A small bar, run by a family.
Brio opened in Sanayeh in 2022. Karim leads the espresso program; his father runs hospitality; his brother runs the bar overnight. We do not chase trends. We pour clean coffee for people we know by name, until late.
The room is intentionally undecorated: warm wood, low brass light, soft conversation. The cup is the only thing asked to perform.

A quiet hour, just before midnight.
The lights dim a half stop after nine. The espresso machine slows to one barista. Conversation drops a register. This is the hour we built the cafe for.

Sourced from a Lebanese roaster, with single origins flown in when a lot earns it. The lineup rotates; the menu does not.

I write better here than at home. The lights, the music, the second cup. Three years now.
